Alone in the darkened room
Solitude and quietness surrounding me
Distanced from friends and family
My mind wanders
As i sit with my thoughts
Craving companionship
Conversation
Just someone to pass the lonely time with
Physically, I am not right
But my mind and heart still function
I want so much that mental contact
That runs deeper than any sexual pleasure
That stimulates my mind
Is there someone to connect with
That makes the real world fade
Even for a few minutes or hours
I open the book of my heart
Inviting someone to read
To live my story with me
Be the pen to my paper
As we start a chapter anew.
