 That's a really good question and one that I have no answer for. I believe that each individual is different. If you are an open minded and loving person, then all people should be valued on their hearts and minds and not on their body's. Oh well... Next... There are a lot of people out there who will accept you for who you are.

 Assholes and douchebags are everywhere. That's not the same as having a phobia. What you experienced is douchebaggery. As you pointed out, sexy comes in all shapes and sizes. To smoke out the asshole, have a public event or two before getting private. If he get shifty about being out with you, I suggest not bothering with the rest.

Sorry if that sounds preachy. I just have a soapbox for assholes who give the rest of a bad name.
