Fixing things...

Im painting the room in a colorful way
And when my mind is wandering
There I will go...

Get a they said, it helps you when you are down. Get a so you have someone to play with always. Like having four at home is not enough right? Of course went out and got a dog, the exact I have always wanted. A nice Beagle, big floppy ears and the like. The wife however was unsatisfied, because Pepper is my dog. At least she gravitates to me more lol. So we added Theo.

Now Theo used to be cute and cuddly in January and February when we brought him home. Now the big dummy is just a behemoth.

So we have this ottoman that stores blankets that matches our living room set. No it is not a themed set, just dark leather. There has to be one less nerdy room in the house

Theo chewed it up. He also chewed up the couch and the love seat. I was so irritated when I came home from work to find the stuffing everywhere, the leather shredded and that dopey look on the dogs face. Complete with leather piece still hanging out his mouth. Sorry no pic, I was to upset to take one. After I took a deep breath, and had some tea I decided on the fix. I stripped the ottoman completely. Went out and bought another one, because I like it, and while out I bought some new pattern. Used the leather I took off to patch the couch.

Added some extra padding to the top of the old ottoman, and created my boys a toys box. Toy box and real comfy seat to play wii on, read on, or whatever.

When life hands you lemons, make lemonade right

Dogs are so cute and so much fun to have as a friend or someone to watch over the kids and have lots of playful fun with, but they are also a nuisance when it comes to chewing on things..I hope all goes well and you get everything fixed. Happy Hump Day..

Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

Hey Mr Creative!!! Awesome job and nothing wasted. Now once I had a cat that thought the sofa was made for her claws. I made a a lemon solution in a spray bottle and pinned paper towels on the areas she wanted to frequent and sprayed the towels. end of problem. Maybe you can find similar help for "chewy"
PS your dogs are gorgeous- and this from a cat person

thank you. That is good solution. I may have poured a little hot sauce on the corner of the love seat. Theo hasn't chewed on any since

Good for you for keeping the dog. Many would of dumped him. Some people shouldn't be allowed to have animals of any kind.

Humans are the most dangerous animals on earth.

If only animals had the ability to know when to keep away from us humans they would be better off.

Oh we wouldn't get rid of them for that. Too much joy for the boys. Plus having five children total, I'm used to things not lasting if not put up lol
