Negaholism

I am a Negaholic. It's like alcoholism, but instead of being hooked on<b> booze </font></b>I seem to be hooked on being negative.

And it hurts.

I truly want to quit. I want to be a happy, positive person. I don't like people calling me dark and broody. I'm tired of being disinvited from chat rooms.

I'm like the alcoholic who loses it with one sip. Just one more! It's that pervasive.

I have people tell me I'm a good person. Heart of gold. Wouldn't hurt anybody.

But that's on an individual basis. The moment I get in a group my disease comes back. Then all of the good comments become lies to me. It's like demonic possession. (It's nearly Halloween so I can say that)

I want to be somebody that people look forward to seeing. Not dread.

How do I combat myself?
