Sex Magick and Me. As I have been perusing through a variety of material as possible fodder for next novel, I happened upon the topic of sex magick. While I was familiar with the term, I had never done any real research into what it was all about. So I began reading a bit about it. Perhaps, like many people, I labored under the misconception sex magick was somehow related the occult, Satanism, sorcery, Black Magic, etc. While technically it does fall under the definition of the occult, and may be used ritually within the contexts of other categories deemed "evil or nefarious" by most, sex magick, in and of itself, is really a very neutral practice, i.e., not inherently "good or evil." Here is some of the insights I have gleaned thus far. Sex magick is a valid form of magical practice. I do not fancy myself a practicing magician, but, evidently, It is also a powerful system of magick can another powerful tool to your magickal armory. It is the art of using the orgasm, the whole sexual experience — for magickal purposes. It is not about getting better sex but using the ancient energy. The magick is extremely powerful and is creative. It is not for everyone, it is neither white nor black magic inherently and can be used for a variety of goals. The first thing about sex magick is it is not about sex. sounds strange but these practices are not going make you a porn lover, or give you the secret of trying be god’s gift men or women. Sex magic, tantric sexuality and other forms of sex is all about getting things in life you want. As many of you already know, when having sex an enormous of “energy” surrounds the human being. This energy can be released through orgasm. Again, Sex Magick is not about making yourself a better lover, giving you many positions on how orgasm better. Sex magick is all about using one’s body. release the power from within. Sexual energy can be used for many positive attributes. It is not an instant miracle but a tool both to aide and improve your life. It is not for the fainthearted -it requires discipline and practice. Sex magick is the art of working with the forces of Nature to bring about necessary, and desired, changes. Magick is simply: energy and power of life. It is also about becoming more spiritual, i.e. being in tune with your own deepest goals and desires. This information genuinely piqued interests. Though one can create a ritual is very involved and complex, it is not truly necessary perform an effective "spell." For myself, simplest has always been better. it most basic level, sex magick requires the person formulate a clear and specific goal, outcome, intention, manifestation, etc. In other words, be extremely focused as what you are seeking obtain. Once this is done, there are various means of incapsulating this outcome in the simplest way possible. Some folks recommend creating a sigil or symbol, a talisman, a rune, use of a specific tarot card, etc. Sex magick is ultimately tapping into the person's subconscious and the human subconscious understands the language of symbols, myth, and metaphor better than English, Spanish, French, or any other spoken tongue. While many people may use sex magick as a means of becoming rich, finding true love, or having a specific person fall in love with them, I am seeking the goal of becoming a successful fiction writer, more specifically, a writer of Gothic fiction. So I am scouring the internet for an image (or images) embodies profession. Once this choice has been made, put it a prominent spot refer the right moment, then put it of your mind for the time being. Then prepare the space you will be performing the ritual as elaborately or as simply as you desire. The ritual can be performed with another person, a of people, or alone. I prefer alone because I am not currently a relationship nor do I have acquaintance with a local of magicians. Besides, for , simplest is best, remember? Once everything is set, the fun begins. I imagine I am most strongly drawn the practice because I love feeling sexual energy coursing through body anyway. So I will be enjoying myself during the process. Of course, it goes without saying working hard on the craft of writing remains the most important component becoming a successful writer. However, in the ultra-competitive filed of becoming a published writer, any type of advantage helps. Time will tell if sex magick is the edge I needed get over the hump. M~ |
