Going To The Doctor

I was feeling kind of sick last week with a sore throat and a stuffy nose so I decided to got to my Doctors Office for a once over. I called and set up an appointment for that after noon.. At the appointed time I checked into the Doctors Office sat down and waited to be called to the back. After a short wait I was called to the back to see a Doctor. Rather than a Doctor I saw the Nurse that I normally see and have had an excellent experience with out side her Office. She is a younger woman with a couple of young under school age. Before the Nurse came in though another nurse came in to check my vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature and oxygen level. While checking my pulse she placed my hand between her legs on her inner thigh and began feeling my pulse rate. She then informed me that my pulse was rather high. After a quick chuckle I said, "Mam, no way will a man keep his pulse rate down with his hand in that position unless he is dead." She turned beet red and I immediately apologized for my remark. "Well." she said "It has been a long week and last week end my boy friend was away at school and I haven't been able to sleep well when he is gone."
