Who do you...? (Thinkers only please)

I enjoy getting to know people and especially the people who read my posts. In the past I have even done interviews of bloggers so people can get to know more about the fascinating people who hangout in Blogville. Below are a few questions I would like to hear your answers to so that I/we can get to know you better. My answer will be listed in the old preverbal first comment box.

1) Who do you blog for?
I see many on here who just post pictures of other people and never themselves. Pictures that are there to get more people to visit and follow them though there might not be much interaction with the visitors. I see thoughtful and thought out post where someone is wanting to make a difference or share something that is of importance to them. I see humorous blogs where the writer likes to provide daily laughter. I see the blogs where the writer wants to share their sexual experiences. These are just a few of the types and I want to know... who do you blog for.

2) Who do you follow? and why?

3) Who have you met from the blogs and were they the same in person as they are on here?

4) What blogger do you want/wish to meet one day? or maybe you prefer to stay private.

5) What annoys you the most or turns you away in a post?

6) How many active bloggers are in your area and do you ever interact with them?

Thanks for participating and have a wonderful day!!!

1) I blog for myself, to satisfy my curiosity and to learn more about others. Being sexual is not a bad thing all though the world around us keeps trying to tell us so. I enjoy hearing from like-minded people. I'm a people person.

2) I follow those who I have interactions with the most. I do follow a few that just post pictures but have less interest in them. I follow one that posts swinger group pictures. I have always been fascinated by what some people do at these gatherings.

3) I have met several from Blogsville and they were exactly how they were on here. It was like seeing and old friend as we knew a lot about each other already. They were not fake and equally as fascinating as they are on here. Unfortunately, all of the ones I have met are no longer on here. They must have left after I did several years ago.

4) honeysuckle9397 - why? we have been longtime friends and even did an art project together through email one time. I have watched her go from being a shy young lady to a very outgoing and social butterfly once she got her confidence from meeting a certain guy on here. There are many others I would like to meet as well and hope to meet someone near me sometime.

5) Political blogs. I hate it when people go political because they only think their view is right. I come here to escape the world as we know it. Also, long blogs without pictures. Unless I am really close to the person, a long blog will just take too much of my time to read and it may not even be something I am interested in.

6) Zero! I think I need to move to Canada, lots of lovely ladies blogging from there. Only one problem... I HATE BEING COLD. I think I need to move so some tropical island... then invite friends from here to come visit.

Being cold is not bad, it gives you more desire to find something to help stay warm with. Like your blog.

1) Me... I blog to share my travels and meetings but mostly to read. I like blogs that are heavy on smart words and light on the web-pix!

2) I follow about 25 bloggers, all writers and thinkers.

3) I've met at least two dozen bloggers over the years that I've been here. I do travel a lot. For the most part they've all been as advertised, both good and bad! I've been fortunate enough to avoid the few train wrecks here and have made lifelong friendships and even a few lovers!

4) I've met pretty much all the bloggers I've wanted to... maybe there'll be some new interesting ones pop up on my travels.

5) ALL CAPS! Lack of proofreading. Vapid content. Random internet pictures.

6) Not too many in my area any more... but then again, I have a pretty wide "area"

Congratulations! You are the first person I have ever spoken with from DE, at least that I am aware of. Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions and giving good thought out answers. Have a wonderful evening!

1) I blog once in a while when I feel like I have something to say that might be of interest.

2) There are a couple of prolific bloggers who write on topics of interest to me. One I've already followed, the other one I'm thinking I should add to my follow list.

3) Never met anyone.

4) To go with 3) above, not planning to. If the possibility arises, I might be open to it, not sure.

5) Poor writing, spelling, punctuation, grammar. Blogs that are written like how most people write text messages today. Too many pictures, unless the blog is meant to be a post to share memes or something similarly funny (and at times, I wish the title would indicate that more clearly). Pictures not marked nude when they should be. I have my account set to no nudes for a reason! Multiple posts per day by the same blogger, day after day.

6) Bloggers' locations don't show up for me when I read them so I dunno. However, I suspect not many in my area.

Thanks for dropping by and answering my questions. When I left out for meetings this morning I was feeling like there is no one else left in the blogs who actually think of the blogs the same way as me. You are so right on the ones that just seem to post, post, post but yet their posts have no substance. That is irritating because it makes others fall off your main page so you may miss something interesting from a person you are not following. As far as meeting others bloggers, I would encourage if you get a chance to meet someone you admire or follow to take the leap. There are some great people here and it is SO fun getting to meet them in person. Have a wonderful evening!

1) Who do you blog for? Well on some level we all blog for whatever level of attention it may get us. I post up a variety of things (with the somewhat notable exception of sexual content) that interest me and some others here. I do it, in part, to remain active here for when a prospective female playmate shows up.

2) Who do you follow? and why? I’ll follow anyone who normally puts up interesting posts and interacts with those who comment. Those who post up just pics I don’t bother with. I also don’t read bloggers who constantly bitch, whine, and complain.

3) Who have you met from the blogs and were they the same in person as they are on here? Since I am far from most bloggers I haven’t met any so far. I had one date set a couple years ago but she flaked a day or so before.

4) What blogger do you want/wish to meet one day? or maybe you prefer to stay private. At one point I had a long list (does size matter?) and considered a “Man Whore Tour” but cost and logistics would have been overwhelming.

5) What annoys you the most or turns you away in a post? See above.

6) How many active bloggers are in your area and do you ever interact with them? I seem to be the most active and regular blogger in AZ. There are 1 or 2 guys who respond semi-regularly.

When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

Thanks for dropping by RRR. You live in a beautiful area and I have always enjoyed visiting out there with work. Sorry you have not been able to meet any other bloggers yet. I still smile when I think about the ones I did get to meet. All non-sexual but fun nether-the-less. I also fully agree with I prefer to follow those who respond and interact. Otherwise you may as just well be reading the newspaper. Have a great one!

I saved this to reply to when I could make the time to do your blog post justice.
1. I am relatively new to blogging and this is the only place I do it. I am not a fan of social media. I began blogging when I encountered the Virtual Symposium that once was run by HumorLife. I was so inspired by it that when he took a side step- well I have tried to keep it going. Most of the time I blog to share knowledge of any sort. Lots of times it's things I have done or photos to share that hopefully might help someone get through a rough day

2. I follow several bloggers all over the place. Something they posted kept me going back and I finally flagged them. I do not always leave a comment but I do read.
3 and 6 As far as I have discovered, there are no bloggers near me. There are several I would love to meet in person and I hope to work with another blogger in creating a meet next year ( they call it a bash LO

4. There are many bloggers I'd love to meet. The reasons are numerous but basically I think we would become friends outside this site. There are about 5 in Canada a couple in UK one in Japan and many stateside

5. Poor grammar and rudeness are total turnoffs as is continual bitching.
And I always respond to those who follow my blog and leave comments. They took the time to show they were interested- I do the same

(Virtual Symposium Group) use Virtual Symposium Group

Hey pocogato, sorry for being so late responding to your comments on this post but not being gold if the comments do not show up quick enough then I do not get a notice that they are there. I do love your answers and appreciate the thought that you put into them. Again, sorry for being late, I just finally had some free time and decided to go back through my blog and saw this. Merry Christmas!
