Boobs in or Out?

Boobs in or Out?  One observation I had while in Barcelona was how few women go topless anymore. Are women more modest these days? or have men driven them to the point they don't feel comfortable being topless anymore? I fear women European countries may make it so rare in public the beaches will be sanctioned by government to no longer allow toplessness because others might get offended. Why is there such a hang-up about female breasts being exposed? I see many men on the beach should not go topless because they have more boobs than the women. Why is it women can't show the same thing men show? I really think here in america if women would go topless in large groups they (beach security) would let it go. I think when it is the norm there would be less random guys perving. Maybe I am just to trusting or use to much common sense but I really don't get it. Would love to hear the women on here give their feed back and I would like to know... if you were allowed, would you go topless? or would make you uncomfortabe in public? |

I am guessing maybe 5% of the women I saw while there went topless.

Topless in general - for me - would probably not happen due to things like chafing. At the beach, I might though it would leave me with a seriously funny sunburn line. Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

It surprises me that is less common now, on Spanish beaches, than it had been in the past. I don't think I'd go topless on a beach where no other women were doing it, though. Were you in Barcelona all summer? Probably not. You may have only witnessed two or three beach days. That's not enough time to declare European women are getting more modest. [Which I seriously doubt]. But certainly, if there really is a lack of women going topless at the beaches in Barcelona, this could be due to everyone having a camera in their pocket phone. I fear women European countries may make it so rare in public the beaches will be sanctioned by government to no longer allow toplessness ... Ha.. no. That would never happen in Europe. because others might get offended. .... Passing legislation because some are "Offended" is the most ridiculous reason to pass a law. Being "Offended" means absolutely nothing. Why is there such a hang-up about female breasts being exposed? ..I have no good answer to that. Some people just need to be sense-smacked. I see many men on the beach should not go topless because they have more boobs than the women. ...Well sure... and likewise there are some women , you'd throw them a towel and order them to cover up. I really think here in america if women would go topless in large groups they (beach security) would let it go. ... That might work. Surely make the News, though. I think when it is the norm there would be less random guys perving. .... Probably but that would take a half century or a little more, for that to happen. And even when everyone was conditioned to see nothing unusual when a woman took off her shirt, there will always be that one woman, with the most exceptional pair of breasts that will cause men to stare in absolute wonderment. You can see examples of that today....once upon a time a woman couldn't even show her ankles in public, now some walk around in short-shorts or just bikini bottoms with a shirt..... although some really shouldn't because they don't have the legs for it......but the point is most bare legs we don't look twice at, but every now and then, there's a woman in shorts with the most phenomenal set of legs you've rarely ever seen. ....So it will be , with bare breasts, one day. Maybe I am just to trusting or use to much common sense but I really don't get it..... I don't either. But I like your idea of a public revolt. If all women went topless at the American beaches.... the law enforcement would just say fuck it.... or arrest the women who really shouldn't be going topless.

I just don’t want to see it. I think we have become desensitized to the naked body with all of the exposure. The allure has lost it’s magic.

Daytimer09B replies on 6/5/2019 5:57 am: Thanks for your input on the subject.... Just hard to believe we are in the 2,000's and there was more naturalism in the world back in the Roman rule days. Sure... but you don't have to go that far back. In the 1960's, there was plenty of naturalism. But somewhere along the time line , to now, feminism, pc-culture, and the increasing lack of personal privacy, seems to attribute to the end of carefree topless-ness. Also to mention the horrendous "Fat" problem that seems to have plagued Western Culture... don't want to see fat topless women..HA.. nor in bikini's. Just isn't attractive. But perhaps in Europe the "Fat" problem is not as rampant.
