Nine Eleven
Twin towers, they're no more.
A plan devised.
Islamic terrorists used a jet as a weapon.
Nine Eleven, souls faded to heaven.
Saw the fire and smoke billow up into the sky.
We were detoured off to 16th Street.
Standing in the ash, my heart sank.
My stomach was sickened.
Saw from the rooftop of 33 Thomas Street, an F-15, Fighter Jet.
Top of 32 Avenue of Americas, the first radio link came up.
Empire State building became the tallest once again.
Found a stock-trade transactions from the roof of 83 Maiden Ln.
Sirens blast, was One Liberty on the way down?
Was reassured it was not.
Outside Pace University was in the ashes of steel and<b> bone.
</font></b>Short-Lived, brought us closer as a nation.
Troops man their battle stations.
The smoke burned my eyes.
The tears flow down my face.
So brutal were the attacks.
Twin towers gone forever, never forget.
