As Real As It Gets...

As Real As It Gets... I have spent a lot of time mulling over how to do this post. You see, you all have helped me reach another milestone of sorts here...with this blog having just passed it's second year of existence. I reviewed many of the previous posts here, many of the comments left, some by those no longer here by choice...and even some left by people who have since left this world. The most poignant for me, was reading comments left by marathonman45202, who passed away in his sleep this past summer, may he rest in peace. So as I reviewed and considered how to mark this day here in blogland, together with you for the last two years, I've made a decision. Leave a comment here if you wish...I read, value, cherish and appreciate every one of you who leaves a footprint on the way through... ...but what would really make this special to mark two years here, is if you could help me 'pay it forward', as they say. There is a blogger here, very near and dear to my heart, who has had a very challenging year. Now I suspect challenging by her standards, with her tremendous faith and strength of character, would be enough to crush us mere mortals. So please, go see our beloved... goddess1946[blog goddess1946] and the post [post 1201885]. While you're there leaving a hug, or a prayer or a word of encouragement, you can wish her a happy birthday too... Thank you for being who you are Lusty... I appreciate your support and your coming by to wish me a Happy Birthday meant alot to me...  and this post too... I've spent much of this day in silence and doing my best to feel gratitude for all of the blessings in my life before having to go to work tonite...sometimes it just helps to *make a list* you be on my list....Blessings for the New Year to you and yours... as someone wrote me...sometimes ya just gotta wrap yourself in saran wrap and go on in...or something like that!  Just a little food for thought............. If you really want to be happy, nobody can stop you... {=}

. Thanx for the reminder. Talk 2 da Hand was one of the good guys. May we muddle thru 2008 without our ranks again likewise lessened... . . Been a while since they last let me out into polite society. Resurfacing, catching a breath, & catching up.  And while I got my Broad-Brimmed Pimping Hat on, could I cajole all of y'all to Comment on, Alone In A Cloud? It's probably the best thing that I've written! Lately... .

LT time does fly doesn't it I was looking at my old comments too earlier this morning and it made me laugh and feel good inside so congrats on two yrs man and Happy New Year. and I'll definitely go and check out Goddess she is truly a beautiful person and an inspiration. roaming the cyber streets of blogland
