What am I looking for in a relationship? An open and honest one and open in the way I want to be able to talk to them about anything. I don't want to sit around and play make believe, I will be attracted to other women and she will be attracted to other men and if monogamy is the path we choose and I'm finding it difficult, there is only one person I want to talk about it and I would want the same for her.

I'm a pretty open minded guy, I don't have a lot of practical relationship experience, but I'm a very observant person. I have seen regular and "open" relationships work and fail. I would personally prefer a poly amorous but realize I won't be the only one in this relationship. I think monogamy is doable but a lot of things have to sync, like sex drive. If the sex drives don't mesh well one or both people are going to end up miserable. I don't want that.

The person, well I have a type, absolutely gorgeous women with stunning tattoos, it's a problem. Need to step up my game, hence I'm starting yoga Monday, start weight training as soon as my gym membership goes through at work, then eventually add in Brazilian jiu jitsu(want to work on core a bit first, my back is my bread and butter) I also have a couple of bad ass ideas for tattoos for myself.

I think dating should be fun, getting to know the other person see if you mesh well. When you step it up to relationship, what ever that may look like I think there are 4 pillars to any successful relationship Openness, honesty, trust and the overwhelming desire to fuck each others brains out, then you both build on top of that.
