im am now going to delete any one on my friends list if i see them online and they don't bother saying hi.

i have had people added to my friendlist months ago who never message so whats the point?

 I totally get it. I never accept requests from people unless we've chatted for a bit. I regularly have to delete people as friends because as you said they all the sudden stop talking. I also don't generally friend people who have 100s of friends. Obviously that is somebody just interested in how many they can acquire.
