 I've been Standard for a while now and have learned that I can reply - once - to an IM without using points. I've been able to read and reply to emails but that might be a remnant of chick privilege.

People on your friends list are deletable.
Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

 Sooooo many lusty women.. so little time .. its the scammers.. and the site just tying to make you pay up.
As for IM. I have to use points in the main, sometimes I do get a freebee,, depending on their opening line will determine whether I waste 17 points ot not.. and of course where they are.
I figure if they're gold and really interested, they can message me
