Hide Feature?

So, we understand that we are not every woman’s cup of tea. And, judging by the low number of replies we get to our messages, we are rarely a woman’s cup of tea. Lol.

That’s cool. We don’t judge, and we don’t try to force interest in us. We much prefer genuine interest. If a woman has no interest in us, then we simply move on. You will find that we are very rarely mean or derogatory. We almost said never, but that’s not true. A few of the more condescending comments we’ve received have pushed our buttons on occasion, and maybe we defended ourselves with a little sarcasm. Haha. It is rare, though, as we truly hope everyone finds what they’re looking for!

Anyway, back on topic. Since we are looking for mutual interest, a connection if you will, we have no problem wishing a woman well and moving along. Without interest or a connection, it simply won’t work for us or her, and that’s no fun for anyone. This is supposed to be fun and enjoyable, and “her” enjoyment is high on our list of priorities.

So we wondered what everyone’s thoughts were on a “hide” feature on the site ... an ability to hide profiles of those who are disinterested in, or will never talk to us? Having been here for awhile, we daily see a number of the same profiles of women who simply are not going to engage with us, whatever their reasons may be. We think it would be nice to hide those profiles from our main page, so that we don’t have to sort through so many of them, and allow us to see more potential matches.

 On another sex site they have an ignore feature where you can choose to ignore someone. Once you do, their profiles won't show up in your search results and you won't see any of their postings either unless someone else quoted them. I think that would be a nice feature for this site to have. It might even stop any blog wars.

 Not much works on this site that is already here. Good luck them adding something that does but yes it totally makes sense.

We totally agree that this falls into the category of wishful thinking, but it’s been on our mind a bit lately, because we keep seeing the same profiles of those who aren’t interested in us. Thank you for your comment!
