conversation starters for MFM

My husband and I have been looking for another male to join us and are finding it hard to connect with the right person. What are good conversation starters and when and how do you get things going?

 I know it sounds cheesy, but the right person will find you, because trust me, they're looking, they just haven't found you yet. I contact every couple that fits my interests until I find one that's willing to get to know me, and the same will happen with you guys, you two are great, someone you like will pop up eventually
