Personally, I like to (first) share warm soapy shower to ensure both are clean and smell nice as well. I feel I must interject here. I am convinced that there are individuals who may diligently pursue cleanliness, yet still be cursed with an undesirable scent emanating from their genital area. That comment is based on experience with a former partner. As another has suggested - shower and soap and active 'scrubbing' (cause that is too harsh) did not remove a fundamental unpleasant scent. Over time I learned to accept that there really wasn't anything other than accept and proceed. I am not convinced that the 'wipes' mentioned are all that effective either. Again based on my personal experience - wipes or washcloth - fail in comparison with a brief shower cleaning. That can be facilitated by installing a detachable shower head. One doesn't need a full body shower when you only 'freshen up'.
