Understanding

I feel I am missing something when it comes to a woman. I thought a woman would like someone who it helpful, thoughtful, caring, able to pickup on small subtleties and be available to develop intimacy. It seems the more I try to understand, the further away I get from understanding. What does a lady/woman really want from a partner? I am honestly asking for help. I want to be able to please my<b> mate </font></b>whomever she ended up to be. I wish to make her life easier and more complete.

Can anybody help me?

 You asked me if I am interested in a woman I am not attracted to? I think like most of us it helps a lot if you are attracted to the person but with that said, I would rather be with a person where I could experience the above post and really connect with them than be with someone who is just tolerating being with me. I would like to interact with the person I am with where after being together feeling closer to one another than, oh, I got my needs met but somehow I feel it happened at the person I am with expense.
When I hear the expression, I have sex with you only because I love you but don’t desire it myself, it makes me feel bad because it wasn’t mutual.
