Observations ... I have been on this site for about 3 weeks now off and on. I am new to all of this, both internet sites such as this one and being curious. I have been hampered a bit by a standard membership, which of course limits what I can do here. Things have opened up a bit since being gifted two weeks of gold status. And I have been fortunate enough to chat with a few really nice, understanding people who I hope to keep in contact with for quite awhile. That said, there also seems to be a certain sense of circling going on here. Same people<b> viewing </font></b>my profile a bunch of times without ever working up the nerve to say hello. Some who do finally say hello, bring the conversation to meeting up over the course of several chats, only to disappear or fail to follow through. I understand that fear. This isn't easy for anyone, not nearly as easy as it probably should be. We are all here in one way or another looking for essentially the same thing: a connection. If you feel you've made one, don't be fearful to sit down with the person and have a cup of coffee. What's the worst that could happen? Anyway, thanks for listening/reading. your venting has been taken under consideration, filled, and is in the processing stage... your feelings are important to us and we will reply as soon as an operator is available. bonne chance there is a world of difference between insanity and stupidity

You can believe the site when it says someone viewed your profile. Its usually the site alone triggering the view because you popped up on someone's main page. I get messages all the time saying I've viewed someone's profile when I haven't. In order for your blog to appear in the main list you need to add in the first comment - another site issue.
