AFF Is A Scam!

I used to have a profile on here under a different name. Back then this site was much better. It seems now there are less people on here who are serious about meeting up. It also seems there are less real profiles. The biggest shock, though, is how much more this site charges for a gold membership. It used to be $30 for one month. Now it’s $40! That’s not only ridiculous but also outrageous. I used to pay for yearly memberships but that price has skyrocketed too. It was like half the price it is now. Back then this site used to reward you for getting a quarterly or yearly membership by adding on extra months for free. You could get 18 months for the price of 12. This site also used to have a silver membership for those that didn’t want to pay so much. At the very least they could offer a free trial period for new accounts. Another reason this site is a scam is because as soon as I created my new account I had 3 emails from other members waiting in my inbox. I find it hard to believe that within 1 minute of creating a profile I would have people contacting me. Especially since I don’t even have a profile picture. FriendFinder-x obviously plants those emails there in the hopes that you will be gullible enough to upgrade to gold so you can read them (since that’s the only way to read emails). Another thing that’s irritating is that as a standard member you can only initiate 3 IM conversations per day. They might as well say it’s zero because it’s obvious the IMs don’t actually get delivered to the person you are sending it to. Not one of the IMs I have sent has even been read. Let alone responded to. So they are either not being delivered or the people I’m sending to aren’t actually online. If this site wants people to pay for memberships they could do a better job of convincing people to pay. Either by lower their outrageous prices, offering a silver membership again, or doing free trial periods for new members.
