FAKE ACCOUNTS
FAKE ACCOUNTS FriendFinder-x....I know you have to know this, but the number of fake and scam accounts on this site is ridiculous I spent 20 minute verifying accounts I might be interested in by simply Google searching the photos. There were 9. Seriously! Nothing was real. I called them for what they were and notified your administrators. Is there anything you can do? I know I've paid to meet real people, so I'm sure the frustration is felt by many others. UPDATE: In a very short period of time the count is up to 25. FriendFinder-x has done their part and deactivated the accounts. UPDATE: 32 and going to keep calling them out as I find them....it's not hard and FriendFinder-x is starting to deactivate them more quickly....I've found nearly all of them want to have you use a "verification" process so that you can get to know them....others are solicitations..... |

The frustration is experienced only by men because most suspect accounts are female. I too have contracted the admins about this, most recently tonight regarding an obvious solicitation blog post. It seems that the model A*F*F uses is to rely on users to report suspect accounts rather than to actively prevent such accounts from being created in the first place. Many male users complain (in the blogs) about this and many female bloggers get bitchy about the complaints because, as females seeking men, they are not subjected to the same degree of bogus members as men are.

yup it seems to be the #1 topics on many a site fake males after nsa sex or married and looking for a hookup fake women looking for cash i am guessing that is why the meeting between men and women from the net stays on the net there is a world of difference between insanity and stupidity

I think the site went from using the asshole inappropriate guy messager to the thirty something girl looking for phone numbers or web addresses The numbers of them certainly suggest there is only one source capable. Using more than all the road!

Are those accts gold? If so, there is your answer. They pay for it.

Yup, I notice "gold" accounts with fake pics never go away no matter how many times they are reported. I report fake photos that comes to my attention, but nothing is done about them, apparently.

you seem to be to busy to meet up.

My schedule changed.... For now I have some time...as long as it falls on a day off... This post is the culmination of reaching out to a few folks only to have them direct me to a "Verification Site" or instantly want you to meet them on Gmail or text, telling me how much I mean to them. Frustration has led me to looking at almost every account and if given a number, doing a reverse lookup to try and verify it's not a scam. Must be the cop in me taking over and being suspicious.
