Moonlit Waterfall

Moonlight falling down from the heavens is as soft as a whisper and as revealing as<b> lace. </font></b>When viewed from behind a waterfall, however, the light from a full moon is brilliant, like a cascade of illuminated diamonds. Each July, on a full moon night, I climb up, up and up to a cavern that is set behind a mighty waterfall to sit humbly in the presence of, and to be enveloped by this extraordinary beauty. While the air pulsates with the sound of falling water, caressing nearby rocks, puffs of misty air kisses my cheeks. It is no longer just a place or scene, it is as if nature is alive and present all around and within you. In such moments, made aware of my loneliness- of my desire to be with someone to share these nature-inspired experiences, which can be satisfied by simply sitting, holding hands or cuddling with another. As nature reveals, intimacy doesn't need to be complicated thing.
