maybe for male profiles it does. I am female and No....it doesnt deduct points from me when i accept an IM. However, people have said.....that if i ..as a standard....send IM to another standard, IF they answer......points are deducted from them. Again, there might be a gender differential with that too ~~

every once in a while , the greedy bastards here deprive us of the 3 free IMs we normally get. female action is so low that it is not worth paying money.

Yes...and now....i just noticed yesterday that female profiles are now charged 10 points for initiating an IM....am unsure what happens when i answer one. Little by little features are being deleted.....and little by little people are leaving the site ~~
