Welcome to the Orange Zone

I wasn't certain if I wanted to start a blog to share some thoughts on life and sex, but I had a moment of inspiration and figured, "why not?" My goal is to spark some good conversation and dialogue and for everyone to feel free to share their own thoughts and experiences in a respectful way.

So who am I? I'm a single guy in Miami, FL, in his mid-30s who never dreamed he'd ever join a site like this one. And then life happened! I spent a good chunk of my 20s and early 30s in a longterm relationship with girl I was very much in love with at the time. We had a good, not great sex life -- no real complaints, but things were quite vanilla with her, and we weren't intimate as often as I would have liked. Nonetheless, I was happy. We got engaged, planned a wedding, and then she got cold feet, decided she couldn't marry me, and ended things, leaving me heartbroken and depressed. I struggled for a long time to figure out how to move on and dig myself out of that hole, and I did a lot of reflecting about myself and what I wanted out of life. Along that journey, it dawned on me that I was single and free, and that I could use that time to explore all sorts of things, including the various kinks and fantasies that I had kept repressed for so long. Call it an awakening... call it an evolution... call it a sexual maturation... call it whatever you want. But I was ready to explore some of my wild side, and that's how I discovered this site.

How did you all come to be on FriendFinder-x? What are you all looking for here? Any stories similar to mine? Lol, or are we all just sex-hungry creatures who are only on this site for random hookups? I'd love to read about some of your experiences.
