Great pics and everything looks like it's thriving. I'm not really good at growing stuff, but I have a lot of experience chopping trees. Yep. What does that have to do with anything? 🤔 Nothing, I guess. Ever chopped a tree down? 🎄 ... is there another way to look at it Going Too Fucking Far NEW Blog Features RevealeD O O A Foolproof Method Posted Over on that NEW site O O

You did great. Too cold here for a garden.

Looks wonderful! So nice to be able to pick something fresh from the plant and not worry about where it's been or who's handled it. And no chemicals!

I've wanted to start a garden, but the big dog in my back yard would just eat it. The fucker chews 2x4s.

I would love to see your tomatoes When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

WOW! You have tomatoes coming along! I am envious. And fresh green beans! How fabulous! I watched a guy on you tube plant, grow and harvest veggies hydroponically. He used the big plastic drums that started out life filled with food. No dirt. No bending over. It was very cool. They got sunshine but I still don't know if they would taste as good as veggies grown in the dirt.

It's good to know there's a fellow gardener out there, albeit on the other side of the country. Your seedling papaya looks really happy! I'm hoping my volunteer papaya next to the compost pile and all the new, young papaya plants I got this year survive winter. If we get a frost, there's a chance I'll lose them all, as in past years. Still have a few tomatoes bearing fruit, slowly, and hoping the local tree rat will leave the fruits alone. It's been chewing green lemons off the tree and dropping them to the ground... no idea why. Just picked up a few more berry plants (raspberries, primocane blackberries, blueberries) to add to my collection. Most likely they'll still be in the too-small pots a year from now. Justicias, sasanqua camellias, tecoma, and tecomarias are blooming. Passionfruits are ripening slowly, some falling to the ground when ripe. Found this week to my surprise that eventually I'll have some blood oranges this year, for the first time in 4-5 years. Guess it helps that I hacked the mulberry back further this year so the oranges got slightly more sun. It's a late ripening season for the citrus and will be weeks/months before they get ripe. We're still in that in-between time with a bit of lingering fall, temperatures up and down and up and down. It was briefly in the 80's a week ago, but now heading down into proper winter weather: a week of temps mostly in the 60s, a couple days in the 50s, with a chance of -gasp- rain!
