Chapter 5

The sound of the front door call button buzzing insistently made them both jump. Andrea grimaced as she threw on a robe, and made her way to the intercom in the apartment hallway. The soreness in her ass as she trotted up the hallway, a pleasant reminder of what had just occurred.

He used the opportunity to pull up his pants, tuck in his shirt, and straighten his tie.

“H-hello? Who’s there? What do you want? said Andrea inquisitively.

“ Andrea!. It’s me, Felicia. For god’s sake, open the door, quickly. That madman could be anywhere” said Felicia breathlessly.

“Uh, just a moment Felicia”, said Andrea, stalling her friend as she gathered her gown around her and tried to straighten her hair.

“This really isn’t a good time Felicia. Perhaps you could come back tomorrow? We could go for lunch” Andrea offered.

“My life is in grave danger and you want be to come back tomorrow for lunch?” Felicia screeched shrilly. “What kind of friend are you?”

He strolled casually down the apartment hallway, until he stood next to her by the intercom “Let her up”, he said. “If you don’t let her up, she’ll just make a scene. I’ll go make myself comfortable in the bedroom.”

“You invite her in, calm her down, pour her a glass of wine, and then get rid of her as quickly as you can” he said conspiratorially.

“If you hurry, we’ll still have lot’s of time for dessert” he said with a wicked smile.

Andrea flushed all the way down to her toes as she thought about ‘dessert’.

She heard the bedroom door click shut and once again turned to the intercom speaker on the wall. “Come on up Felicia, but I only have a few minutes. I have an….appointment.”

A rapid and insistent knocking at her door let Andrea know that her friend had arrived. She barely noticed the twinge in her ass as she moved to the doorway and opened the door.

“ Oh thank goodness you’re here” said Felicia breathlessly as she brushed past Andrea and made her way into the apartment. “I may have been followed,” she said over her shoulder as she made her way to the balcony sliding door and peered out between the sheers.

“I think that homicidal maniac that attacked me on the Bridge is following me, Felicia said. “Who knows, what he wants. The way that he looked at me…the way he devoured me with his eyes. There is no doubt in my mind that if I hadn’t fought him off, that filthy beast would have had his way with me right there.”

Andrea rolled her eyes. “Felicia, I’m sure you’re safe and you weren’t followed. What exactly happened?”

“Well” said Felicia, “I was just driving along, minding my own business when this beast of a man, in a huge monster truck, tried to run me off the road. He almost forced me off the shoulder and into the Bridge guardrail. It was horrifying.”

“He was dressed like some sort of policeman…but I knew he wasn’t a police man because he didn’t have a badge, or a gun. “Who knows,” Felicia rambled, “maybe he’s a serial bad man who dresses like a police man to fool his victims. Good thing for me that I wasn’t so easily fooled.”

“He tried to open my door and drag me out of my car and do mean things to me. I could see the animal lust in his eyes, the way he leered at me; his hot musky perverted animal scent. His rippling muscles. It was awful!”

“I fought him off and just barely escaped” Felicia said breathlessly.

“Did you call the police?” asked Andrea.

“The Police? Good heavens no!” said Felicia. “They’re probably all corrupt! It wouldn’t surprise me at all if the Police had a top secret grapist team that hunts down and assaults good looking women.”

“I don’t need the police” said Felicia emphatically. “I have Mace and a grape whistle, and I’m not afraid to use them. I’m not afraid of any secret police grape squad!”

Andrea led her into the kitchen, took down two wine goblets out of the cupboard, and rummaged through the fridge for a half consumed bottle of Pinot Gris. She poured Felicia and herself, half a glass each, hoping that the smaller drink would encourage her friend to leave sooner.

Without missing a beat, Felicia picked up both goblets and drained them both, one after the other. Holding them out to Andrea, Felicia wiggled them both back and forth, indicating to Andrea, that she should refill the empty goblets.

With a small sigh, Andrea refilled the goblets and resigned herself to an evening with no dessert.

Handing back only one goblet this time, Andrea said “come sit down in the living room Felicia and try and calm down.”

“Calm down?” Felicia spluttered. “I was almost graped and murdered. I am calm!”

With no warning Felicia spat a mouthful of wine out in a spray. She turned a deathly pale shade as she stared over Andrea’s shoulder. Andrea turned her head, to see him, standing in the entrance to the living room, behind her. His eyes, were twinkling with merriment and a cross between a smile and a sneer crossed his lips.

“Y, you, you’re the secret police grapist” Felicia screamed.

“Boo” he said in response.

Felicia’s eyes rolled back in her head, the wine goblet dropped from her hand, her knees buckled and she fainted, falling forward, face down on to the sofa.
