How often to women make the first move on AFF?

Sexual roles have changed greatly in the last few decades. Or have they?

In this poll we ask about your experiences on FriendFinder-x.

Now lets start by pointing out that FriendFinder-x is not a typical cross section of the population so any results can only be used draw conclusions about people who use the site, and more specifically people who use the site and took the poll. So this is NOT a scientific poll in any way. Still, we can have a bit of fun and perhaps the results will be interesting and informative. Perhaps they will even change some behavior.

So first take the poll. Second, if you have time leave a comment expanding on why you voted the way you did. That will probably be the most informative part of the poll because you get to go into depth on how you think about the sexes.
There is no difference between men and women so why would they behave differently.
Women are so overwhelmed with guys making the first move that they rarely do it.
Women do not feel that it is their "role" to make the first move.
Men expect to have to make the first move, so normally do.
On occasion a women will make the first move if she finds something particularly attractive about the guy.
Women prefer to sit back and let the man make the first move.
Sexual stereotypes have no place in 2019.
Women feel that they will not be respected by a guy if they make the first move.
Guy are genetically programmed to be more sexually aggressive
Women make the fist move just as often as men.

I voted that sexual stereotypes have no place in 2019. That means I think they shouldn't exist. However, I very much realize they still do. I message men sometimes but I'm aware that the majority of men still prefer someone slender or maybe slightly overweight ("pleasingly plump"), so my odds aren't as good as those of someone 70 or 80 pounders lighter.

The "if she finds someone particularly attractive..." option would have gotten my vote next.

I was suprised that so few people voted as this was a morning post and I am looking at it late afternoon. With the ratio of men seeking women to women seeking men why would women make the first move? In my area at least there as many women seeking women as there are women seeking men. Or close to that number anyway.
Men are making there first move from the get go.

When I first joined I would make many first moves with women and men. Either I wouldn't get a response, the response would be rude as heck, or you could clearly tell a bot responed.

Thats really unfortunately. I would think most guys would be really responsive to a message from a woman. Unfortunately FriendFinder-x had now made it more difficult for non paying members to message people so it is possible that that was part of the issue. It used to be much easier but over the years it has become harder and harder so now and again I will pay for a week just so I can message people I am interested in.
