Standard versus Gold.

So I recently signed up and am curious. Do you really get more<b> responses </font></b>as a Gold member than a standard one? Seems like if you are one of the sexy ladies on hear it wouldn't matter but let's here from you single fellas. So far, in 3 weeks, I have IM chatted with only one couple ( thank you my amazing friends) whom I will be meeting with but that is all. Is it timing or something more? Would love to hear your feedback folks.
