Coming out as a Ticklephile – looking for others’ experiences!

This world seems applaud sameness and condemn differences – if someone is different the assumption is they are dangerous in some way. It’s not that long ago ‘witches’ were hanged or burnt at the stake and people in the ‘gay’ community were discriminated against and I believe, still are. However, if I don’t tell people about what I want how do I expect find others – exactly – that’s what this piece is about.

I am a bit ‘bent’ and like tickling – I’m a ‘ticklephile’ and there is even a scientific term for it – Knismolagnia. Many of these people seem enjoy feet tickling – not so for . I also like some of the concepts of the BDSM community, but there is a view in some quarters that tickling is not an accepted part of BDSM. I kept all these hidden from view for fear that people would judge me and my business would be affected. I am now retired and would like meet a female with similar interests. Much of my life was lived pre the internet and online sites.

I found Fetlife and joined lots of groups pertaining my interest and found local events and went along munches hoping I would meet others interested in my ‘kink’, but no, when I spoke the munch organisers they said they knew of no one else interested in tickling. I did meet lots of very large women and people with various disabilities – not what I was looking for.

I found Alt about 3 ago and paid for a subscription – there is a tickling kink, but I’ve noticed the number of people who choose that kink has reduced substantially over the period. I also found FriendFinder-x, an associated site, and paid for a subscription, but found both sites have an increasing number of women trying make . Both sites also have many registered members who have not visited the site for many months or . Both sites have an IM system, but I’ve had little success using it and others seem have similar problems. Naturally the site wants make , but the numbers on both sites seem be decreasing, so paying for a subscription becomes extraneous. I found other tickling sites, but these seem be invaded by people who have no interest in tickling.

I even posted an ad on Craigslist for a lee, but no takers. Maybe if I offered payment I may have done better, but I refuse – not because I can’t afford it, but it’s a moral issue for . I did contact a Domme and enquired about her tickling services – she said I had obey her – yes, like telling wild animals they can’t hunt!

So, the $64,000 question – where do you meet others with similar interests? What does one do or where does one go? I did plan go the US and attend the NEST annual event in May, but Covid prevented that. Also, before Covid I was able travel, but that’s not possible until restrictions on global movements are removed. From my research there is no places in my city go and meet people with similar interests, outside the munches organised on Fetlife. Can anyone share their success story, or is their story similar to mine? Is there an international recognised signal for kinky people?

In the interest of getting to know others interested in tickling I have organised an online event – this is the link https://fetlife./events/991742 maybe you would join us?

Thanks and good luc
