Romance

I am, first and foremost, a cerebral man. I love teach, but also love learn. My idea of a great first date is touring some of the fascinating museums and exploring the art and cultures of bygone eras. I teach Roman art and architecture at the graduate level. I tour from Fortune 500 companies through the same. Twice a year I take groups to Rome to tour the ruins, monuments, galleries and museums in that great city.

I love to eat and love to coo Good cuisine is no less an art than that of a painter or sculptor. Here is one of my favorite sculptures in the Metropolitan Museum in New York She is called The Vine and was created around 1920. What a modern figure and what an incredible expression of freedom and self-awareness.

I appreciate the beauty of many of the pics you send, or that are in your profile. But beauty is fleeting and only skin deep. I did the model/actress thing in my youth and it was a great turn on for a young man. As I matured, I found it far more important connect beyond the good looks. I don't care if you aren't an academic. I don't care if your mind has not been touched by a love of the arts, culture, history, etc. All you need is a desire to learn and share. That, to me, is a huge turn-on.
