I WONDER...around and around.

I WONDER...around and around. I want to find some friends or at the very least meet some people to talk to once in a while. I live in this really small town with absolutely, and I mean absolutely nothing to do. We don't have any bars to hang out in or places to go<b> dancing </font></b>or listen to music. We have about 6 restaurants that all serve the same food and 1 theater. It isn't all bad here, the rivers, lakes, and streams are to die for, but that is all we have. There are very few social clubs and no place at all to go be sociable. So does anyone have any suggestions as to how I am going to meet people before I die of boredom??????????  |

Good morning Ms cumsalot, Well, we think you've done the most important thing, which is to put yourself forward and reach out to "likeminded" people. Surely in all of this wide and wonderful world there must be folks in a similar situation to yours who either are nearby, or would be willing to take a roadtrip to get to know you. And Not just in the bang and run sense either...actually get to Know you. The great outdoors that you enjoy can often be all the social club one needs, and there's nothing like a walk/hike on a beautiful day to explore someone else's personality. Good Mornin', Cowgirl! First of all...love the hat in your profile picture. And GO SeaHawks! I am back in Montana after 4 years in Chelan, WA. So...I know your area. And I know there is not much action in that area. And most of the folks in the North Central area of WA are either married, family or farm devoted folks. I realize you are looking for someone close...but I would be honored to chat and be your friend? I get over to the Spokane/CDA area often, as my daughter lives in CDA. I will be going over to Chelan/E. Wenatchee in May and would be open to meeting you somewhere along the way...if you have any interest? Doc

this is a small town and agree the diners are all pretty much the same but there are places to meet people and some very good local bands and usually a place to go dancing most any weekend. spring will be here soon and there will be lots of town celebrations ,fairs, and music venues. i would enjoy chatting with you if you are interested..

I just got back from my visit and business in Washington. I cleaned out my storage unit and visited with friends while in E. Wenatchee/Chelan. I would have tried to contact you and at least say HI if it wern't for the Corona Virus. Hope you had a good Cinco De Mayo!
