Easter.............................................
Easter............................................. The one holiday that hasn't gone really commercial. That's not to say that the corporations don't use it to sell goods, they do, but not as much as say; christmas. Anywho...I have a question, one that is surely easy enough to answer for anyone. "If you had the chance, and the means to go back in time 2000+ years and stop Christ from being crucified would you do it?" Seems an easy answer huh? You being the kind hearted person you are would say yes! To save him from the cross would be my greatest joy. But let's think for a moment....Without his sacrifice the souls of mortal man would be doomed. The church of today as we know it would not exist, the bible would have never been written. Now would you stop the crucifiction? Jesus knew the answer, he knew what his fate would be, and therefore mankinds. So with a heavy heart he went to his doom..told Judas to turn him in for trial, waited in the Garden for the romans to arrest him and place him on trial. The only thing he really asked for of his followers during this time was to wait with him, to be..well I can only guess the shoulder he would need to lean on. And in this they failed, Now all he asks of us is to believe in him, and for most of us we still fail at our task like his followers of old. Seems odd, a man love us all so much he'd lay down his own life to save ours. All he asks is for your belief. Believe...For he has risen! |

Timely words.

No I wouldn't. It would mess with history. Knowing the inhumanity people have shown despite christianity it is unimaginable to consider gambling what history would have been like without it. Truly a Pandora's Box.

Me? Go back in time and mess with a *big plan*... I think not. Just a little food for thought............. If you really want to be happy, nobody can stop you... {=}
