 Hi, You could be like me and so many others who are unable to handle drugs for cholesterol. I have tried several different ones. Go back to your doc or see another one.

 Maybe you had better go to Urgent Care or a walk in clinic. Severe pain from medication from high cholesterol sounds not right. Might be something else. You never know. That is a shame your doctor gave you the brush off.

True it just could be my old age catching up with me, and yeah I've considered that as well. Thing is I've never had this much pain before I started taking the medication. A few ouch's after a hard day or week sure. I do know when I "miss" my dosage I sleep better at night.
