 U may know this , the wifi meters!, remote controlled by the power company! Meters in my area can be operated with any common remote!!!! I have used one of my A/C remotes to turn on and off our meters, like when somebody moves out and we need lights to clean up the unit!
Just keep pushing buttons until something happens!

I've never heard of it, and we don't have the wifi meters yet. Hell some of the meters are sill using the spinning dial and haven't gone to digital readouts yet.
