Shoveling yesterday and my Arthritis kicked into high gear. The tops of my feet, back, hips, arms and most especially my hands. The pain in my hands was the worst, and the worst it's ever felt. I'm having serious doubts that the medication that I'm taking for the condition is doing anything at all for me. Quite frankly the pain seems to have gotten worse since I started the stuff then it was before I started it. After finishing shoveling the first and second block as well as the Lincon building by myself The boss caught up with me asking if I'd seen the other maintenance guy yet? I had, going down into the shop basement...I finished shoveling the block I was doing and needed a break, my hand barely able to close around the shovel handle any more..I went to take a piss, blow my nose, and grab a cup of coffee to warm up. By the time I got back outside the new guy had started the third block already..I figured screw it..he can grab that one by himself. I went to fill out my paper work for the day, you know actually sign in, and write down what I'd been doing so far for the day. Ever try to hold a pen and write when you can't close your fingers? I felt like a kid learning how to write all over again. The rest of the day went better, smoother. Back into the unit I started the day before to finish it up trying to get that stove clean. Then going back in after lunch, I started in the bathroom, I'm cleaning around the toilet base and the next thing I know the boss is behind me..telling me I'm as deaf as a post. He'd called me a few times from the front door...yeah..like that's two rooms away and I'd hear him? He came looking for me because he need help moving two new water heaters into a basement, but before we could do that the back sidewalk, back stairs and a path to them needed shoveled out. Oh great! More fun shoveling for me. By the time I finished with that shoveling he was back with the new water heaters..I was dreading the thought of helping him move them down to the basement so they could be hooked up. When he let me know he didn't need my help, that his son would be home from work soon and he was going to move them down for his dad. Cool beans! By that time it was time to go and re clean and sanitize the laundry and gym again and then clock out for the day. Fun day huh? How did your day go? Off to shower now.....

I spend my days behind my keyboard. I'm thankful that my fingers function the way they're supposed to. My eyesight? 🤔 Hmmm... not so much. " How did your day go? " From BAD to WORSE !! Had Plumping & Heating Co. in the other day to look at malfunctioning furnace . Turns out it had a cracked heat ex-changer  They were here yesterday to put in new unit . As workers were in process of that ; the one noticed a Huge Bulge & split seam on back side of water heater They will be back on Fri. to install a tank-less water heater
