Story going through my mind yesterday. I do that you know, my process really. Fleshing things out before I write it down. Seeing what works and what doesn't in my mind. It saves a lot of time editing things that way, well aside from typos. The problem with writing things that way is if you don't get to a keyboard soon enough you tend to lose details and main story points sometimes. Any who, I was planning to give it a start at lunch yesterday, but after checking the site, answering the mail that I could, and leaving comments on friends blogs, and answering some on my own blog I got sleepy. I mean eyes shutting by themselves sleepy. Well, with fifteen minutes left on my lunch hour I decided to shut down the computer and catch a little cat nap. Recharge the battery so I could go back to work and finish the day a little less blah. Wrong move. Sitting down in the recliner, I was out like a light. My story still running through my mind. Taking me off to dream land in the process. I woke when my cell phone rang..some idiot robot call wanting to know if I wanted to extend my cars warranty? Back to work, more demo trash to take out, floors to pull up. I didn't want to go. Although a short sleep it was one of the best ones I've had in a long while. But go I had too, as I was already over my lunch hour time limit by ten minutes. Not that the boss would have minded if I was late, or later. He had no plans for me for the day, as it was I was just catching up on work that wasn't pressing. It'll be awhile till that unit is started being really worked on to get it ready, I'm just doing some demo so whom ever takes the job of up grading it doesn't have to. In fact the bosses parting words before he left for the day were " I don't care what you do to occupy your time today, Hell go jack off if you want too. " So, I wasn't worried about going ten minutes over on my lunch hour. Any who, I'll get back to the story soon I'm sure. It's been a while since I've given you guys anything but work crap on here to read. There's still some things I need to flesh out yet though....Off to shower now.
