Yesterday, as the carpet installer still wasn't finished doing the job he was supposed to finish last weekend. The new unit wasn't that bad really, but I spent most of my day in there. Knowing I'd only be cooling my heels if I finished early I took my time in the place. It makes no sense to rush the job when there is nothing to do afterwards.

It's been real nice outside lately, warm temps. and sunny. The weather guys are calling for rain today and cooler temps. as well. Pity, it almost seemed like Spring had arrived?

I'm going to have to shopping for jeans again soon. I ruined another pair yesterday, they split at the knee, that's where most of my jeans usually fail. It doesn't matter what brand they are either. They could be the high end red tagged type or a flashing blue light special brand they still wear out at the knees. Most of my work is done on my knees...yeah no jokes people. But it's true, crawling into base cabinets to clean them, cleaning out tubs, and ovens, and tearing out old carpeting. No wonder my jeans wear out as they do.

Any who, time for me to jump in the shower....

Light weight construction knee pads might be the way to go and save on the jeans

Find an alteration shop and have them patch the jeans. Though what some charge you may be able to buy new jeans for the same money. I repair all my men folks jeans. Crotch rips. Knee blowouts. It's all good.
