Yeah spent a couple hours yesterday prep cleaning a unit for a move in ( Usually only takes an hour or so, but a new hire maintenance guy was in there also messing up the place as fast as I could clean it.) Along about then the PM popped in...did a walk about then pointed out the outside steps in the next building over were grungy ( someone had taken some trash out, leaky bags..you can see where that was going ) Told her I'd notice the mess, and was going to get it done ( cleaned up ) after I had finished preping the unit I was working in. Well with time to stand around till the new guy got done making his mess, I figured why not go do that job ( scrub the outside steps down ) while I waited. By the time I was done with it he should be finished and out of the place I was trying to prep.

He was, and yes..he made a mess. Also used my clean towel to "Clean Up" after himself. A towel I needed clean so I could polish the stainless steel of the sink , stove, and fridge. So, I had to go get a new one, as well as my mop to finish the floors.... By the time I got back, the contract painter was back in..seems he didn't do a good enough job the first time he painted the place and the boss sent him back in for a do over. Long story short? Two hours wasted trying to clean up something that wasn't ready to be cleaned up yet.

So today I 'll be back in the place and starting from square one again. What a fun job I have.

Very muggy out yesterday, worse after it rained in the afternoon. ( no we didn't loose power down here like they did across the lake...) But it was nice to step out onto the back porch and watch the storm roll in when I took my afternoon break.

Any who, last day of the month. Holiday weekend coming up....Wondering since the holiday falls on Sunday if I still have to go in and work my OT or not? I'll have to ask the boss about that.... Off to shower now...

Along with what author51 said ; "Hate when I clean and someone comes in to mess up what I just did "
The 4th does nothing more for me besides being a reminder that, before her passing , was my mothers birthday As it is obviously doing even several days before the 4th
