And my spirit is crying for leaving. In my thoughts I have seen rings of smoke through the trees and voices of those who stand looking.....

I always liked that song. Something about it makes me think of the fantasy novels I grew up reading....The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings books as well as the Dragons of Pern and Xanth Novels.

Something about those stories always seemed to speak to me for some reason? I guess you could say I'm a Nerd? That's cool..I don't mind being call a nerd. The term does define me somewhat. I was never really interested in sports, or things of such nature. Oh, I could toss a baseball or foot ball around with the best of them. Like wise fishing and hunting just for the sport of it never caught on with me either. Doing so to feed ones self sure, we all have to survive right? But you wouldn't catch me out in the woods in a tree stand waiting for that six pointer to cross my path, or sitting in a boat on a pond or lake casting a line waiting for a fish to bite, that's not me.

I've always enjoyed reading...and writing for that matter. That is one of the reasons I blog. Another is so I can get the thoughts that ramble around in my head out so they don't clutter up the place so much. I don't care for clutter. I follow the rule "a place for everything and everything in it's place." Though I don't freak out if something isn't the way I think it should be, there is room for a bit of messiness in my life as well. I suppose that's why I'm so good at the work I do? That and being praised by my parents as a kid for being able to do chores and the like since I was knee high to a grasshopper. Often better then my older siblings. In a large family such as mine, you could sometimes get lost in the shuffle. Being singled out for doing something good, or being good at something put me in the spotlight in my parents eyes for a bit.

Any who..time for me to hop into the shower now....
