The boss asked me yesterday if the new guy ( he's been employed here a month or so ) is working out in the job? I don't know if he was trying to get some real feed back or what from me? I did say that the new employee seemed to be doing an okay job. Always working, quick to get tasks done, comes to work on time and is here every day he's supposed to be. ( hasn't called off yet ) So yeah, I suppose he's working out I told him. About the only flaw, is he tends to be a bit messy at times. Leaving his trash laying about, or tools left behind.

The thing is, I don't judge anymore..at least with someone who may be working along side of me. I had that type of job ages ago. Having to over see a crew, and make reports to the higher up's on their progress or lack there of. I don't miss it at all. Too many headaches, lots of Drama, and the pay wasn't that much more for all the trouble. I'm happier now letting others take the responsibility of management. As the saying goes, Been there done that, have the t-shirt.

I'm a no drama type of guy. After years of dealing with people I've calmly taken a back seat. Though it doesn't mean I still don't notice things going on about me. It's just that I don't offer my prospective on the matter. ( Unless I'm asked to, which doesn't happen very often ) It's made my life easier. The flip side of the coin is people tend to think that I don't care about such things, or that I'm too quiet. Never offering my take on things. But as I said, I'm a no drama guy. Most times it's not worth arguing about and in the end you can't change someone's position on any given matter no matter how hard you try. See, leading a horse to water and trying to get it to drink.

Any who, it's time for me to hop into my shower now....
