All that time off last week spoiled me I think. Then there's the fact that we had more snow fall over the weekend. It's in that slushy mucky stage as it lays on the walks and steps. A pain in the ass as your moving more water than you are actual snow when you shovel. Just thinking about shoveling has my already aching back tensing up more. I never got around to decorating my tree yesterday as I'd planned. I did however move some more furniture around in the living room. Pulling the recliner out of the office and setting it in there so as to have more seating when family drops by during the holidays.. as well as moving the coffee table to where the end table sat and moving the end table next to the recliner so I'd a place to set my coffee cup down while watching TV, or what not. I'm thinking about buying some new living room furniture. Perhaps when my daughter pays me back for the loan I gave her to be used as a down payment on her SUV. I have a small three piece sectional in there now, although small it still takes up too much room. It's uncomfortable as hell to sit on as well, with a low back and pillows the thing makes my back sore when I sit on it for too long. ( Hard not to sit so long when your watching movies on TV, with the ads a two hour movie will run three hours in length. Longer on some stations ) I'm thinking something with a higher back on it for more support would be better? But I'll wait till after the holidays to really start looking for one. Who knows? I just may use the recliner in the room full time after I take the Christmas tree down and use it for watching TV. I'll probably go out and do my Christmas shopping next weekend, after all the hub-bub from Black Friday and Cyber Monday have settled down somewhat. Having the Grand Minions pick out what they wanted from a "wish book " from one store will make it easier to do. No need to shop around unless the place is out of a particular item of choice. If that's the case and no one has what they had picked out, I'll go to plan B, and get them something else they marked down in the book. It is a wish book after all and I told the daughter to have the kids go nutz with it, marking down everything and anything they might want. Giving me options just in case. As for me, what I want for Christmas? Well, I could use a new robe. That place that has Beyond in their name has the exact style and type I'm looking for. One of the plush kinds you get when your staying at one of those swanky spa's or hotels. I could also use a new wrist watch. I'd cracked the crystal on the old one while pulling up floors in the kitchen of one of our upgraded units almost a year ago now. Nothing fancy for me with the watch, a Timex would do, a leather wrist band and water proof, seeing how I always have my hand in a water bucket or sink when I'm working. Some new jeans would be nice to get as well, all the ones I have now have paint dripped on them at least in one place or another. Yeah I don't want much, or need much in regards to Christmas gifts. I'm easy that way.  Now if Santa were real, and he'd ask me what I really wanted, well.... I'd have to tell the old Elf if he could, I'd really like to have lover to cuddle up with on Christmas Eve, or kiss at midnight on New Years. Now getting a gift like that would really make it a magical Holiday. I'm off to shower now....

Yes, I'm Home ; see more below !! I had asked Ol Saint Nick for many, many years for a Redhead but never got one until years ago when I met my significant other and it wasn't even near X-mas !! Got home from Deployment mid-afternoon yesterday !! We were asked to stay an additional week because Fire was nearly contained or hoped to be at least 90 percent or more !! Then we could turn over Command to a Cleanup & Demobilization Team !! It took a Really tough toll on all of us because of an accident and death !! Can Not say anything more about it as the Investigation moves forward ! IT”S just Nice to be back here to FriendFinder-x in Mind and Spirit among Friends 🤠
