Some New Features

Since coming back onto the site, I've seen a couple of differences. One is good, but could be better. One is bad, to the point of outright lying to and cheating us as members.
I really like the new "Kinks" feature. But it doesn't go far enough. In including such activities as wearing lingerie, oral and anal, it lists things that aren't really all that kinky. Of course, it does include things that fir the classic definition of kinky, like the BDSM tools and toys of pain as pleasure.
Some rare proclivities that should be added to the list would be hairy women, squirting women, cum love, /family fun, piss and poop. Don't take that to mean that I'm into all of such, but there are practices in that list they I have known to be very exotically erotic.
Another proclivity that could be added is bisexuality, especially masculine bisexuality. All in all, it's relatively easy to find bi guys by using the advanced search feature. But it would be super cool and wholly hott to have a way to find women who are into bi guys.
I see that the IM has been updated and reformatted. I'm not sure if it's for the good, bad or indifferent. It seems to tend to show people being on the IM, when they really aren't. From what I've read on many profiles, there is mass dissatisfaction with the IM's functionality. A customer service rep told me that by clearing out cookies and your cache, it will help the IM's proper operation.
Now, the one new feature that I most dislike is that the site has removed each member's last visit date from the top of their main profile page. This is an epitomical example of bad capitalism, confirming my father's second premise of that socio-economic system: The only thing wrong with capitalism is capitalists. Of course, that philosophical offering was not meant to apply to all capitalists...just the robber baron types, like nineteenth century railroad owners/operators and FriendFinder-x. By eliminating that vital piece of information from member profiles, the site is promulgating the prevarication that every member is an active, regularly visiting member. The truth of the matter is that probably half or more of presented profiles belong to members that haven't been on the site in weeks, months and even years.
I suspect and in some cases, know that many people, especially single women, are what you might call 'one and done'. They check out the site, post a bare bones, basic profile, look around, log out and never return.
One might assume that Gold and VIP members are probably active. But that is not necessarily a safe and sound assumption. With standard members, it's a guessing game and a crap shoot, unless you see them on line. Even then, it's not always accurate, as a member will show as being on line when they're really not, because they just Xed out of the site, rather than properly logging off.
Sometimes, you can gauge a member's activiteness by checking out their recent activity section, where it might show when they added friends or posted new photos. I have found a way that will quite often let you know a member's last visit date. You can't apply it to every member, but most, I think. I'm not going to publish it here, as I fear that the site would eliminate it.
Speaking of standard members, I can't really blame them, as the costs of this service keeps escalating, while the overall service diminishes. What I really want to know is how much access does a standard member have to the profile of a member with the standard members contact feature. Can they see my entire profile, including the complete main profile page, all pictures, the additional Q&A section, blog entries, videos, etc.? Can they initiate contact with an email message?
More questions than answers. If anyone knows some of the answers, would you let me know?

I have a friend on here that was a standard member and he could not see blogs, or emails, and as far as seeing a picture on your profile, he could not. There is not much a standard member can do here anymore.

The Light is shinning and she is lonely and waiting in the darkness.

From my experiences as a standard member, the ONLY thing I can see is the main photo, and the basic intro. UNLESS a gold member allows access to the account itself . I do not get to read it, nor do I get to read messages.
IF i have POINTS then I can use the IM chat but that they keep increasing the cost of points just to get either respond or Star a chat. Granted I am considering scrounging up money for gold just because that might allow me access to more stuff. Plus it is difficult for me to find a real person .
