gripping out at life

I stood up from my chair slamming against things I forgot who I was drifting in and out I couldn't remember what I got up to do so I sat back down again My girlfriend slaps me in the face saying what the fuck get me another beer oh yeah that's what I was doing Somehow I found myself at the refrigerator I reached for a beer double vision makes me grab at things that aren't there in the wrong direction I was gripping out at life and missing I just want to drink do drugs bang bang bang bang I hope I wake up to see tomorrow maybe I don't want to live at all not in this world I don't think any of us want to live in this world someplace perfect would suit me fine
