Anger on this site - be careful

Anger on this site - be careful

It's probably just my bad luck, but I seem to have introduced myself to people with anger issues. I'm not on this site to engage with angry people or their issues of anger - that will get the person blocked and I'm satisfied with that.

Here's what I'm talking about:

1st scenario:
Person: "I see you were looking at my profile."

Me: "Yes, I was. I'm a brand new subscriber to this site and I'm trying to figure out all of the bells & whistles."

Person: "Maybe this site isn't for you."

Me: "Well, I know I can be a little slow in learning new technology, but I've only been a member of this site for 2 days. Do you have another site that you would recommend?"

Person: "What, I'm not good enough for you? Here's a recommendation for another site, www.gofuckyourself.com

BLOCKED

2nd scenario:
Me: "Hi there, Your profile caught my attention and I thought that I would introduce myself and say hello. I live in the south Willamette Valley near Lebanon, so I'm not right next door. I hope you are staying safe during this historic time. We're all in this together."
Buddy

Person: "Hello there. I do like your profile. But one thing rather gets me"
Note - this is a lead to get me to respond .....

Me: "What is it that "gets you" ?

Person: "No DRAMA no HANGUPS??? I am truly surprised to find someone my age that thinks that is possible. I was just born this second so I have neither of those. But by the time you read this someone somehow is going to start the tapes in my brain. I am just surprised and saddened by that. Sex site or not I still have hope there is a good man for me someday"
Note - a lot of anger and sarcasm, this person wants to engage in conflict

Me: "I hope you find the person you are looking for.
Stay safe. Buddy"

Person: "Lol lol you can’t answer. I really wanted to know. Was not being rude or anything. I don’t wanna love you I just want to know the answer"
Note - more bait to further the conflict, I didn't bite

BLOCKED

I'm not on this site to engage with anger issues. That's what therapists are for.
