I was warned, but a Blackmail was attempted.
I was warned, but a Blackmail was attempted. First off, I have been truthful about being married. It was one of the first profile questions I answered here. My story is I'm looking for friends and naughty chats. After meeting a person claiming to be a woman here, as I was sent a flirt notice, then a message wanting to have a naughty chat. this occurred over a couple days, and then pictures were requested. mutually we sent harmless photo's and then a couple days went by with no contact.after another chance meeting we resumed our chat, and then specific photo's were requested, she wanted me standing in front of a mirror, with my junk on display. I resisted, but then took a couple, without my face in the photo. the next day i get a message to check my email, and this turned ugly. It was a chain of threats that i would be exposed as a cheater to my wife and her friends if payment wasn't made. I was not threatened by this smart assed Jack Wagon trying to accomplish this Larceny! Nor am I afraid they will harm my reputation. Not knowing what else to do or how to report this persons account. They had deleted their account, and I blocked their contact number. I hate people who think they can get away with such antics, and I wished I had been a little more guarded. But over all Fuck the Fuckers, they can lick my Bag and choke on my balls sweat!! |

One thing to consider also, is that about 80-90% of the so called "real people" out there are scammers. Yeah, they're real all right; a real headache. They are on every dating website out there, and some have even infiltrated onto FB. A good thing to utilize is one of the reverse photo search engines. like Tin Eye. I've found so many posers here by using that one. Even found some guy on here (and most likely other sites) who was using the photo of another guy who had been dead for about eight years, passing it off as "his own photo". Funny thing too, he saw that I glanced at his profile, and sent me an "unfavorable message", just for my looking. Guess I wasn't "his type", so I told him that he looked good... for someone who's BEEN DEAD for eight years! "Be who you are and say what you feel. Those who matter won't mind, and those who mind won't matter." ~ Dr. Seuss.

I am completely sorry that this has happened to yet another. Good for you tho for not falling prey to it. Others have not been so lucky and i hear they shut one profile down and open up another for the same nefarious reasons. Wow.... But when you say " meet"....does that mean you met that person outside of here...or an online " meet "? ......and some wives are so secure in their relationship that ' naughty chat' is not even considered cheating~~ Glad they did not meet success with you ~

Being honest about married is commendable. What I wonder is if you state single, would they target you. I do agree with not posting a face with a nude.

Lol....Love this. Good for you Ry. Would have loved to see his reaction , realizing he was busted. I will have to check out Tin Eye.....never heard of it or reverse pic searching. I think people need all the weaponry that they can get in dealing with the fabricators in life.....~~ Looking up images of people to see if they're fake. It's easy, like one of the Geico commercials: "So easy a caveman could do it" Reverse pic searching in general: hover your mouse over any user pic, right click, and click on "copy". Open up another window, go to tin eye (you know the rest), and in the search feature on that site, right click again and click "paste". I think there's a "search image" button there, or maybe it does it automatically... can't recall. Google supposedly has this feature also, but I've never been able to find it. If your search comes back with "nothing found" in results, chances are 50/50 on a real person, or a noobie scammer. The more results that come back, the greater the odds of you dealing with a scammer. Most times all the other results will have some other website link that you can check out. I've been doing the online dating thing for quite some time now, and have seen all the tricks that scammers try to pull out of the hat. Very rare I see something new, and if I do, I ask about it. Now, there are some real people here who do indeed have other profiles on other sites, and may have different pics on those other sites also. Doesn't hurt to ask questions, and trust your instincts. If something doesn't "feel right", chances are that it isn't real. "Be who you are and say what you feel. Those who matter won't mind, and those who mind won't matter." ~ Dr. Seuss.
