 Extra time with relations, and yet they all end within a couple weeks of the new year.

I can't move to Florida, despite the desire to do so.

I feel like a leaf stuck on a windshield, the wipers move left and right but I can't get off no matter how many times it beats me.

Things I am proud of this year.

1) I helped a few people be happy.
2) Projects completed at work, home, and people.
3) I didn't kill my drug addicted children.

Things I am unhappy about, but can't change.

1) Kicking my twenty year old middle child out of the house for dealing drugs this past Januray.
2) Enduring the endless hours of my nineteen year old 's meltdowns after his experimentation with LSD in college four months ago.
3) My friends marking their bodies with my name.
4) The cruise.
5) The insecurity of one man who freaks out when I change plans.

Things I am happy about.

1) My health.
2) My friends.
3) Some of my family.
4) Ironically, I love my job again.
5) My Ryobi cordless drill, purchased fifteen years ago. New battery, and it still runs great.

I will miss my friends, but I guess I'll make new ones. I always do.
