New Web Chat Sucks

I'm guessing I'm not the only one who thinks the new chat window sucks. I don't think the people the built it actually us it. It looks like half the number of people normally chatting are actually chatting now. This could be the<b> death </font></b>knell for FriendFinder-x. I'm only a paying member so I can chat and meet new folks, without that why would I be a paid member.

Here's a few things I see wrong with the new chat window:

1/ You can't hit return send a message, you have mouse over send.
2/ Sending a message does not automatically give focus back to the writing window, it should.
3/ Removal of a condensed list of who is online makes it hard to find people to chat with.
4/ Moving between a chat and the list windows takes you to the top of the list, it doesn't save where you were in the list.
5/ List windows refresh every time they get focus, this makes the refresh slow.

You would think that they would keep the same functionality we had with the hold chat window but apparently not.

I just needed a place to put this. Maybe someone from FriendFinder-x will see it, I doubt it but who knows.

 100% agree, the new IM chat, sucks. wonder if it was designed by someone who has never used an IM chat window before.
granted the old system had lots of bugs. but this one seems to suffer from the same problems. show people who are no longer online as on line. ( I could understand having a few mins to refresh, but it seems people have been offline for 1/2 hr or more and still shows them as online. )
