The trials and tribulations of being a straight single male

Welcome my first blog I hope you find some value with this.

I’ve been and off FriendFinder-x / xMatch for the better part of the last 15 years. I’ve lived in Denver, Portland, OR, Chicago area and now have returned what I consider be home, Connecticut, where I have spent the majority of my adult life.

I am coming out of a LTR with a bisexual lover who I was with for almost 10 years. We met in Denver and she followed my career as I worked on turnaround after turnaround of broken businesses in my industry. It has been difficult moving across the country and back and almost impossible to establish a local group of like minded friends in any location.

As I return Connecticut and begin the journey of trying find like minded people. I am reminded of some of the interactions I’ve had with people across the country and for the most part they have been really positive. Especially a trip Ron Jeremy’s club in<b> downtown </font></b>Portland, OR, Sesto. Unfortunately now closed down but was a great evening of watching highly sexually charged people on the dance floor and literally having rooms available for couples or single pair off in and have some adult fun.

Coming back CT it reminds it’s a bit of an oasis but there are pockets of Lifestyle concentrations in the Middletown and Granby area. Being a single male is about the worse category especially if you are straight. Regardless, I am optimistic about establishing new friendships with the idea of open exploration of shared sexual escapades and common interests. There are few better feelings than sharing physical gratification with friends. It’s fulfilling and as long as everyone plays nice and respects the rules, a really great time. Here’s finding a few close friends!
