Just take it on day at a time, putting positive thoughts into the air literally can change your DNA. Do whatever you need too bring happiness in your life, matter what is added or subtracted. What’s meant too be WILL become

Your pandemic response sounds perfectly appropriate for any calm, intelligent, and rational person. I, for one, enthusiastically give you a thumb's up for your choice of at-home work attire!

My screen name here is not an accident, so your illustration certainly brightened MY day. Maybe that is the answer - lifting others to lift yourself. My Covid Memorial Lights Are Up Shirts and Skins Ive Got TWO of the Letters on this HNW [post 3312759] My Private Blog - Tell Me ALL Your Secrets

You have to find the sunshine in everyday because it is there. You are definitely a ray of sunshine through this pandemic. Keep smiling your beautiful smile. Kent

From one compartmentalizer to another: I with I could find proper dinnerware with those little walls to keep my food properly separated. Really, I don't believe there is any coincidence that schools, prisons, and hospitals are the only places where you find them unironically.

Life is neither good or bad, but how we perceive it. I know that sounds like an inspirational wall poster but it is true. By all measures, this has been a very rough year for me. Yet, I remain hopeful and positive. My mother would say it's because I stubborn but really, it's because I still see my life as worth living. That might be naive but it is what it is. And if you enjoy doing work in your underwear, then so much the better. I certainly enjoy the photo. “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.” ― Oscar Wilde

I still will have an occasional panic attack these days and I employ the "cut the shit" method. I do things to ground myself, go outside if I'm inside or vice versa, sit if I'm standing, etc. and repeat to myself, "You know what this is, just cut the shit." It works, and it passes before turning into a full-blown attack. Good luck to you.

There will be an entry in my own blog about this, but taking in my parents' dog saved me. There's nothing like unconditional love to pull you out of a downward spiral of self-doubt and prevent a return trip. And I'm smiling much more frequently.

You are hardly alone. COVID Stress Syndrome is now a *thing*, most certainly to be replaced (later in later 2021, after universal vaccinations) by Post-COVID Stress Syndrome. What is already known is that the *mental health* footprint for COVID exceeds its *medical* footprint. In other words, if we are able to limit USA COVID infections to 25 million, we will likely see 50-75 million people with associated stress disorders. We have all been involuntarily conscripted into the greatest social experiment in history, in which we will measure our capacity for resilience and recovery, using the entire planet as our laboratory.

I too am good at compartmentalization, it is what has carried me through in my journey of significant loss. Its nothing more than a coping mechanism....a good skill to have and most of us find what works for us. I would think twice abt not being social.....because there is a certain comfort level that we could easily get used to. I dont believe that humans were designed to be this non social. There is something called ..touch deprived ... We live in a world where some of our dependency falls on each other. Pick n choose when or where you wanna be with fam/ friends/work.....but ...people need people./'./'./'...as the song goes. Some days we breeze thru....others take effort...and others take much effort. A day at a time we go along. Good Luck in this covid madness ~~
