Probably a stupid question Why do people constantly view your profile and never say ? Is it that they are simply enjoying pics or is it FriendFinder-x doing this to keep us engaged and staying? Just curious. N MDonson Kiik Myonguy |

maybe a mixture of both? So I have a question, does it show when I view yours? I have my privacy settings where someone cannot see me view their profile. So if I show up as viewing you, then obviously it's A FF's failure to keep the terms of the privacy settings. And one of the reason for views is when you're in the chatroom and you hover over someones name to refresh your memory as to who they are, or just to see where someone lives, it shows as a view in their notifications. I don't really pay any attention to who's viewed me anymore, I highly doubt the accuracy.

I used to get many emails from people thanking me for viewing their profile when I never did and don't even remember hovering over their thumbnail. And sometimes someone might view and decide you're not their "cup of tea" so they move on. It's no biggie either way. I also don't pay attention to who might have viewed me, legitimately or otherwise. If they're interested they'll send an e-mail. For that reason I also don't pay attention to flirts or hotlists.

Personally I enjoy looking at a few profiles for the pictures/videos. I don't want to actually talk to the person or have them think I'm interested in meeting, I just want to look at an attractive body.

I really don't have an answer, other than as you said some seem to be just browsing profiles?

Winks bother me! We have checked with some people that sent us a wink. Nope! They have never checked us out let alone send a wink. Got to the point that we no longer respond to a wink.

Well men are very visual creatures but either too shy or tongue tied to string a simple sentence together,it is the same with blogs,they just seem to lurk on it,rather than pay that person a compliment

I can't see profiles due to being a standard member yet I get notes from men asking me if I liked their profile. I have to tell them I never saw it. Sorry. FriendFinder-x is a pack of liars.

Good answers all. Thanks for taking a moment to respond. It does make sense a little bit more now. But still I think it’s funny that a few profiles are reported as viewing me almost daily for weeks...anyway... Guys have a good one. MDonson Kiik Myonguy

Its a site algorithym....to foster interaction. Go to your " MY Stuff" on your home page and look and see the profiles the site says that you have looked at......i bet you will be surprised. They do it to all of us. Pay it no mind unless they follow it up with an IM, or email or some other kind of contact. Remember standards dont have many options to contact...
