How do we communicate on here?

How do we communicate on here? Hi everyone sorry if this is a dumb question but how do we communicate on here if everything is blocked? Im a member on other dating sites and we can always view other peoples profiles and stuff the only thing they ask you to upgrade for is to emails or get a special badge showing you upgraded. This site seems like you cant do ANYTHING at all without upgrading. Is it like this permanently for non upgraders? Or am I in a new member trial period or something? I like the site but 15bucks a month is a bit steep for me right now just to be able to look at profiles and instant messages. Oh thats the other thing... I cant even respond to instant messages without paying. Thats kinda crazy right? I dont know think I might just close my account if I cant use the site at all without paying lots of . I find it hard to believe everyone on here is paying 15bucks a month. Sorry for bitching and moaning I was just excited to join then it was a major let down when I realized I cant do ANYTHING. Surprised if this blog post even works. Hopefully Im wrong and this is just a glitch!!! |

Deltona, No, you're not going through any kind of new membership hazing period, that's just the way this site is... they want you to pay to play, as it were. Your options, aside from paying for membership, is through the blog (such as how you are doing now) or through the cam chat option if you decide that you want to broadcast. I don’t know if it’s the same for women as men but it’s all blocked for the first day or so. After that, as a non paying customer, you can earn points to be able to reply to or send an IM. At least that’s how it is for guys. Post pics, fill out your profile, write blogs, reply to blogs,,, you get points.

You might consider pinníng two blog posts to the top of this blog. One with your profile and another as a guest book. You can select who can view them to a point and by selecting that replies be approved, but never getting approved this allows a modest amount of privacy. Sadly the days of when attractive young women like yourself were awarded full privileges on joining are in the past, I hope that this works out for you though. Not the Whole Truth but the truth that I can see.

Hi, it used to be alot easier here, but the mother company has gotten greedy and taken most of the fun stuff out unless you're a paying member. There used to be cheaper alternatives such as bronze and silver membership at a lesser price. Hang in there, women usually get upgraded to gold quickly by a generous male member maybe

Nothing is easy on here! lol If someone IM's me, I can usually respond using points I've earned. One of the easiest ways to earn points is to reply to emails sent to you. You don't need to pay or use points to reply to emails. I don't know if it's a glitch for you, but I wouldn't be surprised since so many things on FriendFinder-x don't work right.

That's a pretty common story. I just mentioned in another blog that without Gold I pretty much couldn't do anything. I have heard that there are other options for women so maybe another woman will have more input. Anyhow, welcome to blogs!

Hello and welcome. Yes unless you have gold it's hard. Need points to be able to chat on IM. They use to give you 3 free IM's a day before but even took that away. You have to watch it also, if you answer and pay points to talk. If they don't answer you back you lose your points. Good luck.

Directly under your main profile picture and in the top right hand corner under your handle. Once you click on your points you will see how you can EARN, REDEEM, and USE your site points. As others have mentioned, set up a guest book in the blog. That helps. But how? Post a message indicating that it's your private guest book, and that only you will see messages posted there. Set the message to "always moderated" (or similar term), and read the messages without approving them for public reading. That's it. Accumulating points is the other part of the deal. That's usually a pretty quick process for a young and beautiful woman. The site wants young beautiful women on here, because their presence is the main reason men pay for memberships. So they generally free-flag women who keep men on the site paying attention. Exactly what contributes to a free flag is mysterious, but it's mostly a matter of spending time on the site interacting with people, whether by reading their unsolicited mail (and replying it), writing blog messages, commenting on other people's blogs, and so forth.

Ok thank you for all the advice! Weirdly I can read and respond to SOME emails but not all. Same with IMs. Its very quirky and I still dont understand why some work and some dont. Yesterday NOTHING worked, today some stuff works, who knows what tomorrow might bring?
